TEHRAN - Iran’s mission to the United Nations has sharply accused the United States and Israel of orchestrating a covert campaign to destabilize and fracture the country. 

The U.S. and Israel have been fueling violent protests in Iran since a peaceful protest started in Tehran some two weeks ago in protest to the fall of the national currency.

“The satanic plot hatched by the United States and the Zionist regime to fragment Iran and to engineer an internal civil war will be neutralized through the national solidarity of the government and the people of Iran, the ignominy of which will remain upon them,” the mission said in a message on its X account.
